CORRECT WAY TO PUT A RUBY RING
The Metholodogy to energise the RUBY Ring before putting it on is explained as under.

This is a gem which represents the sun. You can put on a sun stone or surya mudrika as well.

Day to put on the Ring: Sunday of Waxing Moon
Finger: Right Hand ring finger.
Method to Wearing the Ring: - You have to wear the Ruby on Sunday of waxing moon. Please arrange for the following things by Saturday positively:
- 1.25 mts of red cloth (cut piece)
- 1.25Kgs of red masoor dal
- 50 grams of sandlewood
- 5 red flowers
- Five fruits
- One small bottle of Ganga jal or fresh water.
Please put the ring in the mixture of ganga jal and milk on Saturday night. After having bath on the morning of Sunday in between 07:00 AM to 09:00AM, place the above things in a plate along with the ring. (the ring should be taken out from the mixture and washed with ganga jal prior to placing on the plate). Place this plate in front of your home temple and recite the following mantra 216 times with the aid of Budh rosary.
ओम ह्रां ह्रीं ह्रौं सः सूर्याय नमः
Put on the ring on your ring finger after this.
After this ritual donate the items of the plate in a nearby by temple along with some money as dakshina.

माणिक्य की अंगूठी को अभिमंत्रित करने की विधि निम्न प्रकार से है |
हिंदी में विधि-
माणिक्य धारण करें,
यह सूर्य का रत्न है, आप सन स्टोन या सूर्य मुद्रिका भी धारण कर सकते हैं /
रत्न का भार : जैसे बतलाया गया हो |
अंगूठी की धातु :- त्रिधातु
अंगूठी धारण करने का दिन :- शुक्ल पक्ष का रविवार
अंगूठी धारण करने की अंगुली :- सीधे हाथ की अनामिका
धारण करने की विधि :- आपको यह अंगूठी शुक्ल पक्ष के रविवार को धारण करनी है/ शनिवार को निम्न वस्तुओं की व्यवस्था करें :
1) सवा मीटर लाल कपडा
2) सवा किलो लाल दाल
3) ५० ग्राम चन्दन
4) ५ लाल फूल
5) पांच फल
६) एक शीशी गंगा जल
शनिवार की रात को अंगूठी गंगाजल व दूध के मिश्रण में देवें/ रविवार की सुबह प्रातः 7:00 से 09:00 के बीच स्नान करने के बाद, उपरोक्त सामग्री को एक तश्तरी में सजाएं तथा अंगूठी गंगाजल व दूध के मिश्रण से निकालें तथा गंगाजल से साफ़ करें|अपने मंदिर के समक्ष इस तश्तरी को रखें तथा रवि माला से निम्न श्लोक को दो मालायें यानि २१६ बार उच्चारित करें |
ओम ह्रां ह्रीं ह्रौं सः सूर्याय नमः
इसके बाद आप अंगूठी को पहन लेवें और तश्तरी के सारे सामान को समीप के मंदिर में दान कर दें /
