Nine keys to Shani Ki Sade Sati : Dr.Vinay Bajrangi

Shani has many blemishes to deal with; the most dreaded is Shani Ki Sade Sati which means Saturn’s adverse effect for seven and a half years on an individual. Before I divulge about Shani Ki Sade Sati’s impact on natives, let me, first of all, clarify a few things that most of you might know, but it will be better to recap them.

You should know your Janam Rashi or your moon sign. People confuse it with the Sun sign which is dependent on the month of birth whereas moon sign depends upon date and time of birth. You can ask me your Janam Rashi or moon sign by putting down in the comment box your date, time and place of birth.

People confuse Shani Sade Sati to Shani Maha Dasha or Shani Dasha; these are entirely different terms.

shani sade sati Vs Shani dasha

  1. Shani Ki Sade Sati is calculated from the present transit of Saturn over the natal chart whereas Shani Dasha is calculated from moon’s position in a Nakshatra at the time of birth.

  2. The Sade Sati remedies are entirely different from the remedies of Shani Maha-Dasha.

IST KEY shani

What is Shani Ki Sade Sati?

Your horoscope has twelve houses, and Shani Ki Sade Sati evolves as a result of the transit of Shani through three houses out of these twelve houses.

IST KEY (1) SHANI

Which are these three houses?

For this, you should know your Janam Rashi or Moon Sign. The Moon sign is the Sign where the moon is positioned in your natal chart. Now, when Shani starts traversing one sign before your moon sign, you come under the influence of Shani Ki Sade Sati. This Sade Sati gets over when Shani leaves that house which is after the moon sign house. This means when Saturn traverse the house before the moon sign house, the moon sign house and the house after the moon sign, the person remains under the influence of Shani Ki Sade Sati.

IST KEY (2) shani

Why these Three houses:

Moon is the epitome of the psyche and Saturn is the significator of phobia, fear, disgrace, frustration, and lassitude. Separation and depression are the other attributes given to Saturn. When Shani in Transit comes to 12th house from the Natal moon it starts affecting it and continues to do so till it leaves the second house from the Moon.  This strict natured Shani, which is dogmatic and disciplined too, begins to play with the psyche of the native and gives very delayed or no results.

IST KEY (3)

Shani Ki Sade Satti Effect:

Before analyzing the effect of Shani ki Sade Sati on a native it becomes essential to understand the relationship Shani has with the horoscope in question. If the relation is Yogkaraka or Shubh with the horoscope the effect of this transit will not be that bad, but if Shani is a Makraka, Badhaka or Ashubh for the horoscope the agony could be much more. Depending upon the relationship, the effect of Shani Ki Sade Sati on a native can be any one or a combination of the following:

  • Delayed Results

  • Loss of MoneyRESUME OF SHANI

  • Loss of reputation

  • Loss of health

  • Children not doing well.

  • Constant Mental tension

  • Fear of loss from Government.

  • Fear

Is the effect same for all the 7.5 years?

Saturn remains in a sign for two and a half years and the gravity of its negative influence also depends upon the relationship Shani has with the lord of the house.  If the house lord is enemy of Shani the two and half years period is going to bad if house lord is a friend the Dasha is going to neutral and if the house lord is a very nice friend then the Dasha will be good.  Following is the table to understand the nature three Dashas of Sade Sati for a native of different Moon Sign and which phase of Sade Sati is worse.

Shani Sade Sati and Nakshatra:

I believe that you guys know about your Janam Nakshatra, Shani ki Sade Sati Starts when Shani comes to 24th Nakshatra form the Janam Nakshatra and remain till it gets passed over the 5th Nakshatra from the Janm Nakshatra.  Apart from the Janam Nakshatra these Eight Nakshatra are related to the Janam Nakshatra in a manner depicted below:

24th Nakshatra/ नक्षत्र

25th Nakshatra/ नक्षत्र

26th Nakshatra/ नक्षत्र

27th Nakshatra/ नक्षत्र

Janam Nakshatra

2nd Nakshatra/ नक्षत्र

3rd Nakshatra/ नक्षत्र

4th Nakshatra/ नक्षत्र

5th Nakshatra/ नक्षत्र

sadhak /साधक

Nidhan/निधन

Mitra/मित्र

Param mitra/ परम मित्र

Janam Nakshatra/जन्म नक्षत्र

sampat/सम्पत

vipat/विपत

Shem /क्षेम

pratihari/ प्रतिहारी

  • Sadhak Means:- Fulfilling

  • Nidhan Means: Poor

  • Mitra Means: Friend

  • Param Mitra Means: Superfriend

  • Sampat Means: prosperity

  • Vipat Means: Difficulty

  • Shem Means: Skill

  • Pratihari means: Counter Attack

The Nakshatra are so designed that they give the results as per their relation with the Janam Nakshatra as detailed above. The effect can be understood best as below:

Firstly access the impact of Shani’s transit in the house as per your Janm Rashi

Now superimpose the impact of Nakshatra as explained above, on it.

You will get the fair idea of the effect of the transit of Shani around the Janm Rashi and Janm Nakshatra and analyze what phase of Shani Sade Sati is going to be worse.

IST KEY (7)

Shani ki Sade Sati & Karma correction:

Shani gets the portfolio of being the judge among the planets, and during the Sade Sati, it has the onus of passing the judgment on all the deeds committed by the native. Shani tends to punish the native under the Sade Sati who committed blunders in the Dashas of other planets. So, be wary of the fact that the planets that create a conducive environment for the native to falter from their path become a mute spectator when the Shani Ki Sade rules. Apart from this, the following Karma correction is warranted from the native:

  • Respect for elders

  • Due care of elders

  • The Help of the poor and downtrodden.

  • No Alcohol

  • No to non- vegetarian diet.

  • Respect for workers working for you.

  • No lies

  • No backbiting.

  • No mad rush toward earthly pursuits.

If these rules are followed, the life may become less miserable when the native is under the effect of Shani Ki Sade Sati.

IST KEY (8)

The Remedial measure for Shani ki Sade Sati :

There are many upaay for negating the effect of Shani ki Sade Sati but without correcting oneself expect little or no results from these upaays. The Upaays enumerated below are for the Shani Ki Sadesati, and these remedial measures are entirely different from the Upaays done in a negative Shani Ki Maha Dasha.

  • Shree Shani Naam Stuti

  • Shri Shani Ashtottarshat Namavali

  • Shani Ashtottara Namavali Stotra

  • Shani Kavach

  • Shri Shani Vajrapanjara Kavacham

  •  Padam Purangat Shani Stotra

  • Dashrath Krut Shani Ashtak

The above Upaay are done in the presence of someone learned but there still one more Upaay which negates the adverse effect of entire Shani Sade Sati and that is

=> The Sapprona Shani Vidhi

This Vidhi takes twenty-seven weeks to complete, and the native has to do it himself and one can find himself relieved from the Shani Sade effect.

Have a look at the video I did on Shani and posted it on Youtube.
